Failte Towers

RTÉ’s new Summer reality show, Fáilte Towers, will see twelve celebrities running a fully functioning hotel.

Show will go out live after the 9pm evening news on RTE1 - see dates below.

All participating celebrities will be representing charities of their choice, and all profits from phone/text votes (over the course of the show) will go to the celebrities nominated charities (individual celebrities will be vote-eliminated during the course of the series).

here will be no "background staff" helping the celebrities - they will do everything themselves - clean the toilets, cook the food, boil the sheets, manage reception, etc.

Fáilte Towers is a real hotel with real guests. Members of the public will be staying in the hotel; you can apply for rooms on-line at:

Pat & LauraLynn Foundation very much appreciates any sponsorship of Pat’s trip.

He is taking 5 months unpaid leave of absence, and will pay all his own expenses, so 100% of all funds raised will go towards building LauraLynn House at The Children’s Sunshine Home. He is specifically asking businesses to donate, as they can be offset against tax.

Grand Masters Festival

As part of the Grand Masters Festival, a group of athletes will run from Belfast to Dublin, and will finish by running the Dublin City Marathon. Various ‘mini’ runs will be held along the way.
