RTÉ’s new Summer
reality show, Show will go out live after the 9pm evening news on RTE1 - see dates below. All participating celebrities will be representing charities of their choice, and all profits from phone/text votes (over the course of the show) will go to the celebrities nominated charities (individual celebrities will be vote-eliminated during the course of the series).
here will be no "background staff" helping the celebrities -
they will do everything themselves - clean the toilets, cook the
food, boil the sheets, manage reception, etc.

Art Exhibition The Junior Great Bupa Run, Phoenix Park Benefit Concert Charity Ball Charity Ball Coffee Morning/Bring & Buy Sale Adidas Race Series - all in the Phoenix Park, Dublin: A hundred thousand thanks to Fr. John Bracken and the wonderful young people of Foxrock Community for the 24hr. Swingathon they organized and ran on 1st & 2nd October '05, in aid of LauraLynn House. To the 1,434 sponsored swingers, all who sponsored them, and all who helped in any way to make it such a fun event. Thanks also to the various dignitaries and celebrities who took time to come along and support. Amazing funds were raised from the event, which will support so many families in the future. Thanks so much to Lorraine Hedtke - Host, and Keith Oulton, organiser of the Bereavement Forum held in Maynooth on 26/27 June '05, which raised wonderful funds for the Charity. A wonderful family in Cork ran a 'Coffee Morning' for the Charity, and raised money which adds greatly to our growing fund. A big, big 'Thanks' to the teachers and pupils of Mount Sackville and Scoil Bhride for their wonderful fund-raising events in recent weeks. It was also a wonderful and enjoyable evening and the money raised so important to our fund. A big "thank you" to Dave Morrissey of DMIC who designed, built and hosts the web site. We are hugely grateful to Brian Fitzpatrick and his team at Craftprint , for all they have done and the wonderful ideas for the future. Brian and his team have printed our Headed paper, Complimentary Slips, Business cards etc. They have also done a wonderful job on our ‘Lynn’s Dreams’ Bookmarks, already mentioned, and for sale to anyone who would like to buy or sell some for us. Brian refuses to take any payment for the work, and it is people like him who make our goal so much easier. Thank you. A big ‘Thank You’ to Mary Ann O’Brien, Siobhan Maguire, Nuala Golden and staff at Lily O’Brien Chololates in Newbridge, who are supplying us with boxes and chocolates for fund-raising. The chocolates are called ‘Lasting Love, in memory of Lynn@Laura and would be a nice gift for lots of occasions. We also want to extend our sincere to children from many schools who supported us – including Lynn’s school – St. Dominic's College, Cabra – who have all done some fund-raising and are continuing to do so in the future. A particular thanks to class 4C, who recently did a talent show. The concept of young people helping other young people less fortunate is very touching to us. Others involved include Coolmine Community School, Clonsilla, Castleknock Community College, Carpenterstown and St. Brigids National School, Blanchardstown, and to many of Lynn’s friends who have been so supportive. Thank You to Emma's School - Loretto College, Foxrock, for fund-raising done by them.
